You get patterns for both a pencil skirt and an A-line skirt. They both have wide waistbands, button plackets at center-front, and get their shaping from cute little pleats. And you get to decide if you want pockets!

The skirts are both fast to sew and relatively easy to fit.
The pleats give width to the front of the skirt and make room for thighs and tummies – even in the close-fitting pencil skirt.
The pencil skirt with pleats also gives some room over the hips, so that it creates an hourglass shape, even if it’s really an illusion…
