Version 1 has tapered sleeves with a modern French cuff and looks great dressed up with a belt or over leggings. V1 is designed for lightweight crisp cottons like quilting cotton, poplin, lawn, and some lighter chambray fabrics.
Version 2 has straight, 3/4 sleeves with draping tabs for sleeves and hem to create a flowy look, great for a summer shacket or long shirt/mini dress not like anything else. V2 is designed to enhance drape for fabrics such as lightweight linen, hemp, voile, rayon, silk, gauze, and bamboo. Omit the tabs and sew up in flannel for a summer nightgown.
